The Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees approved a resolution allowing District staff to be granted COVID-19 positive leave if the employee is subject to federal, state, or local isolation order related to testing positive for COVID-19 during their Aug. 16 called meeting.
The resolution states that contract and non-contract employees may be granted ten additional paid leave days if they receive a positive COVID-19 test during their 2021 – 2022 service calendar days and provide the test results as directed via the leave portal. The full resolution is available on the Board of Trustees Agenda Website.
Starting later this week, employees who wish to utilize COVID-19 positive leave must report their diagnosis by filling out the Employee COVID-19 Report Form and apply for leave in the Leave Portal. Documentation of the COVID-19 positive diagnosis will be required to be submitted.
