McNeil High School has been delivering excellence in education to students in grades 9 through 12 for 30 years. When the campus opened to students in 1992, the school community adopted Vision into Reality as their motto, navy blue, forest green, and white as their spirit colors, and the Maverick horse as their mascot.
Three decades later, the school is undergoing refurbishment and is expanding to accommodate the growing community population. Voters approved the school’s renovation in the 2014 and 2018 Bonds.
To celebrate their 30 year anniversary and to coincide with the newly modernized campus facilities, the school is unveiling a new mascot logo.
“This original logo, made exclusively for McNeil High School, is a majestic representation of the best part of our school, our students. It will create a culture of pride and spirit for years to come,” said McNeil High School Principal Amanda Johnson. The strength, intellect, and unrelenting determination portrayed in the Maverick horse depicts every McNeil student.
The design created for McNeil High School is original artwork made by Round Rock ISD graphic designer Thomas Park. The copyrighted logo can be licensed for use through the District. Licensing proceeds help fund McNeil High School student programs.
