The Round Rock Independent School District Board of Trustees is moving forward in its search to identify the District’s next Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Steve Flores, who was appointed Superintendent in 2013, stepped down in December, and Dr. Daniel Presley, formerly Senior Chief of Schools and Innovation, is currently serving as Acting Superintendent.
Round Rock ISD and the Board of Trustees are committed to a transparent process as we search for the District’s next leader. An essential part of the process is obtaining feedback from everyone in the community. As a first step, the District is currently seeking input via an anonymous survey on qualities the community would like to see in the next superintendent. The survey is open through Sunday, April 4, 11:59 p.m., and is available in English, Spanish, Telugu, Mandarin, Hindi, and Tamil.

This survey is prepared and conducted by Ray and Associates, Inc. The Board of Trustees selected Ray and Associates, Inc. at a March 1 called board meeting as the search firm to find the next superintendent of schools.
