The Board of Trustees has selected a search firm to find the next Round Rock ISD superintendent of schools, with the goal of selecting a candidate prior to the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
The Board interviewed candidates at a called meeting on Monday, March 1, and selected Ray and Associates, a company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa that has specialized in national school executive leadership searches since 1975.
The search will launch with a community engagement process for collecting feedback to guide vetting of qualified candidates.
“We are excited to get this critically important process underway,” Board President Amy Weir said. “The selection of a superintendent of schools will have a lasting impact on the Round Rock Independent School District for years to come, and we are determined to identify the best person for the job with input and engagement from our community to ensure we are selecting someone who understands the priorities and values of Round Rock ISD.”
More information on how the public will participate in the superintendent search process is forthcoming.
