The Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees adopted a resolution to honor Black History Month during February. The resolution was adopted at the Board’s regular monthly meeting, which was rescheduled to Wednesday, Feb. 24, due to last week’s winter storm.
The resolution highlights the origin and evolution of Black History Month and encourages educators, students, and families to learn about the heritage and achievements of African Americans. Community members can review the adopted resolution on the Board of Trustees meeting agenda website.
