Dr. Flores explains plans to start the 2020-21 school year
Make your choice for your student(s) to continue virtual learning or return to the classroom once our school doors open again. Use this form to choose the instructional setting for each student. If you are a parent/guardian of a Special Education student who is 18+, please select 12th grade for your students’ grade level for the 2020-2021 school year.
On Thursday, Aug. 20 every student is beginning the school year as a virtual learner. When it’s determined safe for students and staff, instruction can return to the classroom.
Your choice helps us plan resources and safely accommodate students. While we ask parents to commit for a grading period, we are aware circumstances change, and your student(s) is not locked into your decision.
A choice form will need to be completed for each student. The form asks for the parents/guardians name and contact information, preferred household language, student’s name, campus, incoming grade level, and student ID (if available). After that, select if the student will continue virtual learning or switch to on-campus instruction once schools re-open, and if the student needs support with technology. Please help us support all families by only requesting a device if your household does not have an adequate supply.
The choice form is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese.

How to find your student’s ID: Your student’s ID can be found on your student’s report card, through Home Access Center or ask your student what number they use in the cafeteria. If you don’t know your student’s ID, please indicate that on the choice form.
Plans are subject to change based on public health concerns and conditions.
