Middle and high school students, with their parents, are invited to On the Horizon: Preparing Today for Tomorrow’s Future, an academic planning conference. The conference will help Round Rock ISD students make informed and strategic college and career planning decisions.
On the Horizon: Preparing Today for Tomorrow’s Future will be held at Pearson Ranch Middle School, located at 8901 Pearson Ranch Rd. in Austin on Saturday, April 25, from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The conference is FREE. All middle and high school students and parents, regardless of class standing, will benefit from the subject-matter presented by Round Rock ISD academic planning experts.
In four 40-minute sessions, District experts will delve into topics designed to help students navigate their academic journey to college or career. Offered topics include Making the Most of Middle School Years, Exploring Careers, Preparing for College in High School, Paying for Education Beyond High School, Transitioning from Middle School to High School,
Adulting 101, and more!
A FREE event, registration for On the Horizon: Preparing Today for Tomorrow’s Future is required to accommodate for space and materials.

Session 1: 8:50 – 9:30 a.m.
Session 2: 9:40 – 10:20 a.m.
