Round Rock ISD’s Parent Programs bring Celebration of Families to Cedar Ridge High School, 2801 Gattis School Rd. on Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Celebrations of Families is a free event where all ages enjoy demonstrations, interactive activities and access to community resources that feature after-school, and teaching and learning opportunities.

Parent Programs aim to engage families by partnering with them to foster positive home-school connections. They offer adults tuition-free classes through Parent University.

The Round Rock Empty Bowls Festival will take place alongside Celebration of Families. The Empty Bowls Festival, a service-learning project attained through art, starts at 11 a.m. The Empty Bowls Festival donates proceeds to the Round Rock Area Serving Center.
