Doriane Marvel has been named the new principal of Laurel Mountain Elementary School.
With over 20 years of experience in education, Marvel has most recently served Round Rock ISD as the Assistant Principal of Pearson Ranch Middle School since the campus was opened in 2017. She also worked as an International Baccalaureate Coordinator at both Grisham Middle School and Spicewood Elementary School and as an Instructional Technology Specialist and teacher at Spicewood.
“I am thrilled and honored to be joining the Laurel Mountain Elementary School community,” Marvel said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with students, staff, and families to build on all the success that has grown Laurel Mountain into the excellent elementary school it is today. I can’t wait to start building strong relationships and getting to know all of our school community.”
Marvel earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Concordia University and Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the University of Montana.
