On Sept. 24, 25, 26 and 27, Round Rock ISD brings “Fight the Flu” flu vaccination clinics to the elementary and middle schools listed below. Flu shots are provided at no cost and parents do not need to be present.
Available by injection only, trained and skilled licensed nurses will be administering the vaccine.
Clinic dates and times are subject to change so please check your child’s school website for specific clinic dates and times.
Monday, Sept. 24
Elementary Schools: Anderson Mill, Canyon Creek, Caraway, Jollyville, Laurel Mountain, Live Oak and Spicewood
Middle Schools: Canyon Vista, Deerpark and Grisham
Tuesday, Sept. 25
Elementary Schools: Brushy Creek, Fern Bluff, Forest North, Great Oaks, Joe Lee Johnson, Old Town and Sommer
Middle Schools: Cedar Valley and Pearson Ranch
Wednesday, Sept. 26
Elementary Schools: Berkman, Bluebonnet, Caldwell Heights, Chandler Oaks, Double File Trail, Robertson, Teravista, Union Hill and Voigt
Middle Schools: C.D. Fulkes and Hernandez
Thursday, Sept. 27
Elementary Schools: Blackland Prairie, Cactus Ranch, Callison, Deep Wood, Forest Creek, and Gattis
Middle Schools: Chisholm Trail and Ridgeview
The “Fight the Flu” program flu vaccination clinics are cooperation between Round Rock ISD, Healthy Schools, and E3 Alliance. For specific questions about the “Fight the Flu” program please contact a Healthy Schools, LLC. nurse at 1-800-566-0596.
High School students are encouraged to receive a flu vaccination through their pediatrician, local pharmacy or by making an appointment at a Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) public health clinic. WCCHD offers free flu vaccines for those who qualify.
