Round Rock ISD is seeking volunteers and donations for its annual Back to School Celebration scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 5 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. at the Dell Diamond. The event is held in partnership with the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education (PIE) Foundation, the Round Rock Police Department and the Round Rock Express.

Volunteers have the opportunity to participate by helping families navigate the event, serving treats or assisting with activity areas. Shifts begin at 9 a.m. with the final shift beginning at noon with an average time commitment of four hours.

Volunteer opportunities are also available prior to the event and include supply sorting on Wednesday Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; supply packing on Thursday, Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and event set-up on Saturday Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Review the options listed and choose opportunities and
  • Sign up. Individuals interested in volunteering will not have to register for an account or create a password to sign up on VolunteerSpot. Please reference job descriptions for age requirements for each volunteer opportunity.
