Round Rock ISD has named Jiae Kim the new principal of Cedar Ridge High School.
Kim has worked in Round Rock ISD since 2013 and most recently served as principal at Spicewood Elementary School. She has also worked as an assistant principal at John B. Connally High School and Parmer Lane Elementary School in Pflugerville ISD, and has experience as a classroom teacher.
“Jiae Kim is a phenomenal leader, and we are certain she will do an outstanding job of continuing to enhance the culture of overall excellence at Cedar Ridge High School,” Superintendent of Schools Steve Flores, Ph.D. said. “She believes that all students can succeed and has a proven track record of creating an environment where staff and community work together to provide the support and resources needed to meet the needs of learners at all levels.”
Kim earned a Master’s of Educational Administration and Bachelors in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Austin.
“It is an absolute honor to be graced with the opportunity to serve as the new principal at Cedar Ridge High School,” Kim said. “I am beyond thrilled to be a part of an exceptional learning community that seeks and achieves excellence beyond academics for all students.
