Prom Rack event gives away dresses to Central Texas teens

Spring is prom season. The balance of academic commitments and planning this monumental life moment can make prom season stressful.

Prom Rack, established by Write to Me Foundation, returns to Round Rock High School small gym, 100 N. Lake Creek Drive, Bldg. 400 Round Rock, TX 78681 on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to provide girls between the ages of 14-21 the opportunity to select a formal occasion dress at no cost.

On a first-come-first-served basis, the event treats Central Texas high school students to a complete shopping experience that includes a choice of dress, shoes, and jewelry, all at no cost. No registration or proof of income is required, Shoppers must show their school ID and be accompanied by an adult. Alterations and makeup tips will be available.

The Write to Me Foundation requests information about the event is shared with any Central Texas high school student who would benefit from the experience.
