The Round Rock ISD District-wide Career Exploration Fair held on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Round Rock High School, 201 Deep Wood Dr. in Round Rock will deliver students, Kindergarten through grade 12, real-world experiences with creative interactive exhibits.

At the fair students and parents will have the opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge about various professional and skilled career choices. The District’s surrounding business community aims to help ensure that every child in the District has access to the necessary knowledge, skills, and the confidence they need to secure successful futures.

“Exploring careers offers students a relevant demonstration of how the instruction they are receiving in the classroom helps them acquire the skills they need to be workforce ready,” said Lora Darden, Ph.D., Round Rock ISD executive director of future readiness. “We want students who attend the Career Exploration Fair to get excited about their future, gain insight as to what’s available and discover how a bit of planning could help open more doors for them when they leave high school with their diploma.”

The event is free and will have activities for all ages with more than 100 participating partners, some listed below, exhibiting a wide array of careers. Students who attend may win an Xbox swag package with Xbox gaming chair or Dell Inspiron 17 5000 series laptop. Student(s) must be present to win.
