Mrs. Windell has been my most influential teacher because she has always driven me to challenge myself throughout my high school career. She encouraged me to join and grow Cedar Ridge’s computer science UIL team, which helped me develop a passion for computer science.

My most influential teacher has been Mrs. Cathy Brandt, my kindergarten teacher at Forest Creek. All of my teachers have been amazing and have pushed me in different ways, but it is because of Mrs. Brandt that I found a love for learning and curiosity at a young age.

My AP Calculus and AP Physics teachers of two years, Tricia Goodman and Tim Holland, and former Ridgeview science teacher, Laura Gibson, because not only did they increased my love of learning and showed me what a true passion of learning looks like, but also changed my perception on how I look at certain things and played crucial roles in solidifying on what I want to do in the future.

Mr. Holland has been the most influential teacher as he has shown me a love for physics and math. His passion for students and physics is inspiring and it drives me to be a better person everyday. Without Mr. Holland I would not be the student I am today.

My most influential teacher has been Mrs. Hamilton, my health science teacher and HOSA advisor. She was my Principles of Health Science teacher in my freshman year and is now my Practicum of Health Science teacher in my senior year. She has supported me in my journey to become a doctor and has always encouraged me to pursue my passions.
