Superintendent of Schools Dr. Steve Flores named Dennis Telas, Round Rock ISD Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) manager, as the RRock Star for February 2017.
As PEIMS manager, Telas collects and manages data Round Rock ISD collects as required by compliance and state funding standards. Telas works with campuses and departments across the District to utilize this data to better serve our students and ensure programs put in place will benefit all concerned.
“Mr. Telas is a problem solver and collaborator who is always willing to put in his best work to serve our students and staff,” Dr. Flores said. “He is a key contributor for multiple district committees because he has a wealth of information and always comes to the table with a positive attitude.”
RRock Star is a distinction awarded by the Superintendent to a member of the Round Rock ISD team who impacts students across our District.
