The Round Rock Chamber hosted 21 community members at its annual K-12 Day, which visited four Round Rock ISD schools to showcase the innovative programs offered in the District.
The group toured the District in a traditional yellow school bus as they visited Berkman Elementary Arts Integration Academy, England Elementary School, Hernandez Middle School and Cedar Ridge High School. Campus principals gave community members a tour of their campuses, answered questions and discussed the campus vision throughout the day before the group convened for a lunch with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Steve Flores, the Round Rock ISD Council of PTAs and the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation.
“Round Rock ISD is a progressive and innovative District offering many unique opportunities to our students,” Round Rock ISD Community Partnerships Supervisor Rachael Brunson said. “We are honored to welcome the Round Rock Chamber and community members into our schools to see the great things happening in Round Rock ISD.”
