Round Rock ISD is working with its law enforcement partners to continue providing a safe and secure learning environment on 2016 Election Day at District polling locations.
The District organized extra security measures with Round Rock Police, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department and the Austin Police Department to monitor the nine campus locations designated as polling locations by Travis and Williamson counties. All schools will have a police presence on campus.
Round Rock ISD has historically hosted elections at its locations without impacting the school day and works with county elections offices. It regularly works with law enforcement to proactively protect schools throughout the school year.
District polling locations, open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., are listed below:
