Round Rock ISD has named Leah Ionnotti as the new principal of Old Town Elementary School.

Ionnotti is a product of Round Rock ISD as a graduate of Westwood High School and has been an educator in Round Rock ISD since 2006. Most recently serving as the assistant principal at Live Oak Elementary School, Ionnotti began her career at Anderson Mill Elementary School where she taught first grade and served as an interventionist for seven years.

“Round Rock ISD is proud and fortunate to have products of Round Rock ISD returning to hold leadership positions in our district,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Steve Flores said. “It gives me great pleasure to announce Leah Ionnotti as the Old Town Principal where she will continue serving the Round Rock ISD community.”

A graduate from Governors State University and Lamar University, Ionnotti participated in a variety of professional development leadership opportunities, including the Dale Carnegie course, the Round Rock Leadership Institute Team 1.0 and the Flippen Leadership Blueprint.

“During my time at Live Oak, I developed meaningful relationships and partnerships with the scholars, staff and families and I will forever cherish my time and experiences,” Ionnotti said. “I look forward to working collaboratively with the Old Town community as we continue to foster a positive learning environment that allows scholars to develop their unique capabilities and succeed.”

Old Town Elementary School, located in Round Rock, features an enrollment of 658 students and 66 staff members.
