Jollyville Elementary celebrates December Holidays

Jollyville Elementary is one of the most diverse elementary schools in the District. As a celebration of December holidays worldwide, Jollyville students, teachers and families worked together to create table displays highlighting eight of those holidays.

Elementary Art Exhibition

For 27 years, the Round Rock ISD Fine Arts Department has put elementary school students’ finest artwork on public display. This year the exhibition is at the Raymond E. Hartfield Performing Art Center for all to see.

Families, students, and staff asked to complete 2022 campus survey

From Monday, Feb. 21 through Friday, Feb. 25, the primary parent/guardian on file, students, and staff will receive an email from Round Rock ISD to link to your school’s 2022 survey. The survey is mobile-friendly and short. It can take less than five minutes to complete.

Jollyville Elementary robotics team takes first-place for Robot Design

The Jollyville Elementary School fifth-grade robotics team known as Jaguar Pride took first-place in Robot Design at the First Lego League Robotics Competition. Jaguar Pride bested 29 other teams comprised of students from fourth to eight-grade. The team’s first-place win qualifies them to advance to the Regional Competition in April.

Kindergarten registration for 2022-2023 begins March 7

Online registration for Round Rock ISD families to enroll kindergarteners for the 2022-2023 school year opens on Monday, March 7. Round Rock ISD has 35 top-rated elementary schools that educate, support, and serve Central Texas students in Round Rock, portions of Cedar Park, and the City of Austin.

Board of Trustees launches survey for input on superintendent search

The Round Rock Independent School District Board of Trustees is moving forward in its search to identify the District’s next Superintendent of Schools. Round Rock ISD and the Board of Trustees are committed to a transparent process as we search for the District’s next leader. An essential part of the process is obtaining  feedback from everyone in the community.

Mask requirement to remain in place for Round Rock ISD schools

This afternoon, Gov. Greg Abbott announced lifting the mask mandate in Texas in an Executive Order. However, as part of our efforts to keep staff and students safe and keep our schools open, Round Rock ISD has no plans to change the mask requirement in schools and facilities at this time.

Campus operations update for Feb. 24 – Feb. 26

The majority of Round Rock ISD schools will resume operations on Wednesday, Feb 24. A small number of schools will have adjustments made to their campus operations this week to accommodate repairs and impacts due to the winter storm.

Update on school operations Feb. 24 – Feb. 26

Maintenance and custodial crews continue to work around the clock repairing storm damage and preparing campuses to welcome back students safely. Thanks to the dedication of these hard-working teams, we are hopeful that we will resume campus operations on Wednesday, Feb. 24. We will make a final determination tomorrow and will communicate to our staff and families as soon as possible.
