Kari Abrams has been named the new principal of Forest Creek Elementary School.
Abrams has served as principal of Houston Elementary School in Denison ISD since 2022. During that time, she has led campus improvements efforts to increase student achievement, overall school progress and attendance. Before her time in Denison ISD, she served as an elementary principal and assistant principal in Aubrey ISD. She has 23 years of experience in education with 13 of years spent as a classroom teacher.
“I am honored and grateful to have been chosen to lead Forest Creek Elementary,” Abrams said. “I look forward to meeting all our Coyote families as I know strong relationships with families is key to a school’s success. My goal as principal is to collaborate together to continue the strong legacy of Forest Creek. I will strive to ensure our students grow in academics and character in and out of the classroom daily. I am thrilled to fulfill my dream of returning home to Round Rock ISD!”
Abrams earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Stephen F. Austin University.
