Cedar Ridge High School parents, students, and staff were notified today that the campus will be temporarily closed for on-campus instruction, effective immediately, due to the current number of positive COVID-19 cases and close contacts.

All Cedar Ridge High School students will continue learning remotely for five instructional days through Wednesday, Jan. 27. The campus will reopen on Thursday, Jan. 28. All extracurricular activities are suspended during this time.

Round Rock ISD works closely with both local health agencies, Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) and Austin Public Health (APH), to help guide decisions for campuses related to COVID-19. During school closures, all campus areas will be deep cleaned and sanitized using hospital-grade disinfectants before the campus reopens for on-campus instruction.

Families are encouraged to stay connected to the District’s website, Reimagining Education page, Facebook, and Twitter pages and mobile app for the latest news related to campus operations.
