Williamson County is under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 p.m. Forecasters expect sleet, with some accumulation on grassy areas and the possibility for slushy conditions on roadways. Roads could be slippery, but, at this point, are too warm for the rain to freeze, causing icy conditions.

Round Rock ISD officials are monitoring the weather and at this time there are no plans for district-wide closures or cancellations of after-school activities. If conditions warrant closures or cancellations, parents will be notified via phone call and email and we will also share the news on our social media accounts. Principals may choose to cancel campus-based events such as meetings and fundraisers but those decisions will be made at the school level and communicated from the principal.
