Round Rock ISD is joining school districts across Texas in honoring its Board of Trustees during the month of January as part of School Board Recognition Month.

Board members serving Round Rock ISD are President Diane M. Cox, Vice President Nikki Gonzales, Secretary Suzi J. David and Trustees Charles “Chad” Chadwell, Mason Moses, Edward L.Hanna and Steven E. Math.

Board members are public servants and education advocates who continuously support and drive innovative initiatives in Round Rock ISD, including the Strategic Plan and District of Innovation (DOI). The Board oversees the workings of the District and offers feedback as a representative of the Round Rock ISD community.

“Our Board of Trustees keeps the needs of our students and community at the forefront while working tirelessly to support the entire Round Round Rock ISD Family,” Superintendent Steve Flores, Ph.D. said. “I, along with our Round Rock ISD community, am grateful for their service and efforts to advance the teaching and learning that takes place in our world-class schools.”

District officials will host a special recognition at the Jan. 18 Board of Trustees regular meeting to celebrate the Board’s dedicated service to Round Rock ISD.
