Round Rock ISD has named Elaine Douville the new Director of Health Services.

Douville has served Round Rock ISD as a Registered Nurse and a team leader since 2007. Her duties included the supervision of nurses across the District, developing instructional and training activities for school nurses and working to develop health-related policies and procedures that support District goals.

“I am honored to be chosen to lead the Health Services Department and look forward to carrying on the world-class work our District is known for,” Douville said. “Our goal is to meet every student’s health needs and provide them with the resources possible.”

Douville came to Round Rock ISD from the Manchester Health Department where she worked as the School Health Supervisor. Her experience as an RN totals more than 35 years. She is also a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Nursing.

As Director of Health Services, Douville will work with the Health Services Department, campuses and departments to advocate for school health and develop resources and processes to best serve students across the District.
