Round Rock ISD has named Brooke Bailey the new principal of Pond Springs Elementary School.

Bailey has worked in Round Rock ISD her entire educational career, most recently serving as the assistant principal at Pond Springs since 2013. She previously served as a teacher at Teravista, Gattis and Blackland Prairie elementary schools. She has 12 years of experience in education.

“Brooke Bailey is an outstanding educational leader and advocate from advancing public education to help all students succeed,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Steve Flores said. “She has a strong relationship with the Pond Springs community and I am confident that she will continue to further build connections and develop their culture for academic achievement.”

Bailey earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas State University and her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Illinois Wesleyan University. She is also a graduate of the District’s Team One leadership program, which provides participants with rigorous leadership training to become the next generation of visionary campus leaders.

“I am honored to be given the opportunity to serve the Pond Springs community as their new principal,” Bailey said. This is my home and I am blessed to have such a supportive and involved community. I have the utmost respect for our staff and have come to love our students as my own children. I welcome the opportunity to continue growing these relationships while creating new ones.”

Pond Springs, located at 7825 Elkhorn Mountain Trail in Austin, serves 623 students in Pre-K through fifth grade.
