District seeks School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) committee members

Interested in supporting students and schools in an advisory role to the Board of Trustees? The Round Rock ISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) has vacant positions on its committee.

The Round Rock ISD School Health Advisory Council serves to inform and engage the Board of Trustees on issues surrounding Coordinated School Health. By engaging a variety of community stakeholders, and especially District parents, our District’s school health policies and education curriculum reflect the values and needs of the community.

Annual Round Rock ISD parent, student, staff survey available through March 10

The survey will be available through March 10 and can be accessed in English and Spanish. The survey is the primary way Round Rock ISD obtains the valuable feedback and information from parents, students and staff across the District. The Title I survey will also be included. All surveys are anonymous.

Once surveys are compiled, the information will be returned to each principal and posted on the District website. The results are used as part of the campus improvement planning process and some parent responses are used for House Bill 5 Community and Student Engagement metrics.
