The Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees will interview Place 1 candidates on Monday, November 11, 2013 in the Lecture Hall at Round Rock High School, 300 Lake Creek Drive. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Trustees will interview the following candidates:

  • Scott Lambie – 5:45 p.m.
  • Mark Coplen – 6:15 p.m.
  • Carole Callaghan – 6:45 p.m.
  • Greg Allen – 7:15 p.m.
  • Nicole Boynton – 7:45 p.m.
  • Claudio Cruz – 8:15 p.m.
  • Paul Matthews – 8:45 p.m.

Candidates to be interviewed were selected from among 25 applicants. Applicants will be allowed to speak for a maximum of five minutes on their qualifications preparing them for board service. Applicants may also be asked to clarify their written responses to Trustees’ questions. A second round of interviews could take place Tuesday, November 12 with these finalists if needed.

Trustees may take a vote on their chosen candidate either November 11 or 12 to fill the unexpired Place 1 term. The new Trustee is expected to be sworn in Thursday, November 21 at the regularly scheduled Board meeting.

The Board is seeking to fill the Place 1 seat to be vacated by Brian Sellers. Seven citizens serve as members of the Board of Trustees. Each is elected at-large to serve staggered four-year terms. The term for the Place 1 seat being filled will expire in November 2014.
